Anomaly 18, more commonly known as LEGS, are hostile anomalies of the heraphosidae family of spiders.

LEGS are composed of a cluster of different appendages; these appendages seem to be placed in a random order with no apparent function, and due to this, many of them aren't even used by LEGS for movement. Similar to arachnids of the heraphosidae, all appendages of LEGS contain urticating hair that irritates skin, although in this case, LEGS hairs are far more dangerous, as they can have a similar effect to a mild venom.
The length of LEGS can range from about 11 to 15 cm, with legs in some cases larger than 30 cm. Due to their large number of appendages, the fangs and eyes of LEGS are difficult to see and, in some cases, are completely obstructed by them.
LEGS are divided into two distinct sub-species, Volans and Inanis. Volans LEGS possess two extra appendages on their top part; these appendages do not touch the ground and instead sub-divide into two smaller ones. By moving these, Volans have the capacity to fly. Although the length of their flight tends to be short, it is heavily used when facing bigger threats. Inanis do not possess these appendages; instead, most of their legs and hairs appear far larger and thicker than those of Volans.
LEGS possesses a very powerful venom that completely paralyzes individuals when injected. This venom does not cause any type of pain; instead, it completely numbs the body, similar to anesthesia.

- Volans
They tend to be more aggressive than inanis, but they hunt for smaller prey since they require far less food to survive. Because of this, normally they are not interested in humans and attack smaller anomalies like Solarizers.
- Inanis
Due to their bigger size and thicker appendages, they require far more to sustain themselves, and as such, they hunt for bigger prey. Remember, inanis are aggressive and will do as much as they can to not be seen in plain sight. They tend to latch to ceilings, corners, and small trees, so be cautious.

Both species of LEGS, however, launch their mild paralyzing venom at their prey. Once this is done, the anomaly will proceed to completely eat their limbs for smaller prey, such as bugs or solarizers.
For larger victims, LEGS would proceed to forcefully insert themselves into the prey's mouth and travel their way into their lungs. Once inside the lungs, it is believed that the anomaly proceeds to eat out the body composition of the subject. This process is done while the LEGS begin filling the victim's body with fertilized eggs, which will hatch within a day.
During this entire process, the prey in question will remain paralyzed for about 19 hours, remaining fully conscious. The process in question can be stopped around 2 hours after the LEGS have entered the body.

LEGS can be found in almost every type of level, with aquatic environments and levels with heavy lightning being exceptions in which they're not found.
