Anomaly 23, more commonly known as Study Room, is a rare anomaly that may appear in any indoor level, as long as there are other anomalies present.
» APPEARANCE:
A study room manifested in Level 3. The computer is not present in the photo due to the camera angle.
The Study Room is an anomaly resembling a small room. The appearance of the room may vary, but there are several recurring items:
- White walls
- Carpet1
- Table
- Chairs
- Bookshelf
- Computer2
- Window on exterior wall
- Signs reading "STUDY ROOM" or something similar
Other common items include paintings, books, pencils/pens, paper, and storage rooms with Oat Milk, but these may not always appear.
» BEHAVIOR:
The Study Room most often affects the surrounding environment, often affecting the colors and textures of the walls and floor, as well as adding items such as chairs, signs, or paintings. It is very rare to encounter a Study Room that has isolated its effects to itself only. Curiously, other anomalies are unable to enter Study Rooms. Study Rooms will vanish from the level without a trace after an indeterminate amount of time. Anyone inside will be transported alongside the Study Room to wherever the room ends up next.
The computers in Study Rooms contain a single file, that being the TVI document for the level the Study Room is currently in. No other files can be added to the computer. The computer possesses high-level sentience, comparable to an advanced human. The computer claims to be the Study Room itself, and seems to operate as a hivemind, being connected to all other Study Room computers. The computer is very friendly, and is historically forgiving and empathetic.
