Anomaly 5, more commonly known as Reptans, are docile anomalies found typically in dimly lit levels.
» APPEARANCE:
Reptans are humanoid entities that lack any facial features and appear to have a highly defined bone structure. This bone structure juts from the skin and is used in offensive attacks. Reptans' unique bone structure seems to be designed for quadrupedally crawling; however, the way that the bones are formed to crawl is highly inefficient, forcing Reptans to have an extremely awkward gait. Reptans seem to lack most muscle tissue, as their skeletal structure is highly visible. Since they lack any features that indicate they use vision, Reptans are believed to use the vibrations from the ground to locate themselves. Another way of locating themselves is by scratching their finger tips against the wall or floor. Reptans possess a number of small craters on their backs, which seem to be used to detect the aforementioned vibrations.
» BEHAVIOR:
Reptans are very rarely seen, as they flee and hide the moment they can feel the vibrations of another living being; they have only been examined by finding corpses or anomaly-hunting by the CCO. Because of their defunct bone structure, they can only awkwardly trot persistently for a few minutes; this is only useful when they perceive a threat to them. It is currently unknown what Reptans feed on, or whether they require digestion at all.
