THE CREATURE CUT-OUT
Do we seriously expect God to do all the work?
We don't care how you found out about us, how strong you are, how brave you are, or any of that. The only thing we want to know is… Do you hate them? If so, then welcome to our expanding organization. If not, you can leave by the door of the level you came from; we don't welcome your kind… unless you of course pay us, like the guys from The Vivid Idiots legion.
From Steel, with love.
»BRIEF HISTORY
The Creature Cut-Out, or CCO, abbreviated for convenience sake, is a highly militaristic mercenary organization formed somewhere around 200█. The CCO's founder, known only as "Steel", decided to found the organization after a major anomaly attack destroyed a group of outposts on Level 0 in which he resided. He and the survivors of the attack decided this couldn't keep being a problem in the Voidclusters, let alone in Level 0, the "starting level". They were originally a small mercenary group that wandered around in levels, subsisting on what they found or were paid for in anomaly killing. However, after the creation of The Standard Voidcluster Survival Meal and starting to sell it, they rapidly grew in size and members until they reached the size they have now.
Around 2013, they signed a deal with TVI. TVI would fund the CCO in exchange for protection of outposts and expeditions made by the TVI.
»MISSION
The CCO's main mission is the total eradication of anomalies in the Voidclusters. They don't discriminate against docile or hostile anomalies; they're known for being ruthless when attacking and terminating them. The only exception to this rule are Void Children.
Secondary to them is the selling of SVSMs, Roamer skin, or waging war against enemy groups.
»PRESENCE
The CCO tends to be a nomadic organization with only two bases.
- Base "ex instinctus" in one of Level 0's houses, with a population of around 36-40. It is considered their main base and is where their leaders reside.
- Base "in deo speramus" in Level ██, with a population of 27-36. Considered their main production and selling site for SVSMs.
»ORGANIZATION
The CCO structure uses the following system:
Type | Composed of |
Division | 2 Regiments |
Regiment | 2-4 Task Forces |
Task Force | 2 Squadrons |
Squadron | 9 Operatives |
Level Base | 1-2 Regiments |
Task Forces are usually the ones that take care of anomaly-hunting on a certain level or anomaly-specific killing. Sometimes more than one Task Force takes care of a level, such as in Level 0.
