Level 1 - “Under Construction”
rating: +5+x

» SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY - 2/5: Level 1 poses somewhat more of a threat than the previous level, with more anomalies lurking, environmental hazards, and occasional mental hazards;

» ENTROPY - 1.39/5: Any part of Level 1 is prone to breaking, thus making the level unpredictable in nature;

» ANOMALIES - 1.795/5: Anomalies frequently roam the rooms of Level 1, simply just as lost as you are; however, that doesn’t mean that they’re not looking for their next victim, which just so happens to be you.

Level 1 is the 2nd level of the Voidclusters.

» DESCRIPTION:

Level1

First known image of Level 1, taken upon initial discovery. This image was brightened for the sake of viewing contrivance.

Level 1, also known as "Under Construction," is an infinite cluster of rooms, hallways and stairwells, all of which resemble an unfinished basement. The walls of the rooms appear to be either stone, wood or insulation, and the floor of Level 1 is a brown concrete/wood hybrid. Some rooms within Level 1 contain pillars, although a few of them are snapped in half. In addition, water is also seen dripping from the ceiling of Level 1, although the source of this water - or if it is Oat Milk - is unknown. Many of Level 1’s architecture may break and fall, killing unfortunate wanderers who just so happen to be under the falling architecture.

The lights within Level 1 are few and far between; most rooms contain only 1 light, while many have none. In addition, the lights tend to flicker, and rarely shut off for 10-30 seconds. As a result of the lack of light sources within Level 1, it is recommended to bring a light source (e.g. a flashlight) before one enters Level 1, as one can easily get lost within the darkness of the level. Luckily, flashlights are scattered all over Level 1, some of which are in boxes or treasure chests.

Hallucinations are somewhat common - and notable - within Level 1. Many of these hallucinations consist of auditory and visual hallucinations, including, but are not limited to:

  • Hearing footsteps that are not yours;
  • Hearing breathing from another direction;
  • The buzzing of fluorescent lights playing;
  • The appearance of anomalies not present within Level 1;
  • The appearance of Exits.
