» SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY - 4/5: Level 26 is a major obstacle to its own exploration and further exploration of the Voidclusters, as the entrance to "A New Threshold" is found here it is considered an important point to entering Cluster 2;
» ENTROPY - 2/5: The level possesses an indefinite number of floors, has a dangerous amount of chlorine, and has many unconfirmed strange phenomena and properties;
» ANOMALIES - 4/5: Level 26 has a consistent number of anomalies present, so one should be careful. Lifeguards pose a major threat to exploring the pools and waterslides within the level.
Level 26 is the 27th level of the Voidclusters.
» DESCRIPTION:
Level 26, also known as "The Upwards Waterpark", is an infinitely upwards indoor aquatic park. The entirety of the waterpark seems to be themed around a Caribbean pirate setting. Similar to Level 14's limitless floors, Level 26 has an indeterminate height level and an infinite number of upward-facing floors. Sets of stairs located close to a food court lead to these upper floors. The waterslides within Level 26 seem to take advantage of the limitless floor count, since many of them have been reported to have an excessive height and length. According to some explorers, it can take up to 30 minutes or longer to complete one waterslide. All waterslides commonly end up on the ground floor of Level 26.
The ground floor of Level 26 appears to go on forever in horizontal directions. Pools can be found all over the floor; these pools have an excessive amount of chlorine present, making their scent unbearable and swimming in them highly dangerous.
Most floors have vending machines, which are regarded as quite handy because a wide range of objects have been discovered inside them. However, to access these objects, one must input specific codes. These codes have also been noted to only work a limited number of times, before the code for the object becomes useless, so keep in mind they will work best for the first time you enter Level 26.
- 1001 - Oat Milk
- 3003 - Ultra Soda
- 1202 - Rice Juice
- 2202 - Berry Coffee
» WEIRD PHENOMENA AND ANOMALIES:
Level 26 is home to a large number of confirmed and unconfirmed anomalies and strange phenomena reported by wanderers. These can range from accounts of immortality, exits to reality, Voidcluster-related dreams, sub-layers, and much more.
- False Immortality
One peculiarity of Level 26 is that, as a "sort of immortality", when one is killed by an anomaly or dies in any other way while in Level 26, they will find themselves passing out and awaking unexpectedly sitting on a chair on the Level's bottom floor. The explorers who have recently emerged from this event won't remember anything from the time they entered the level until they pass away.
Only after a severe attack on a TVI excursion to Level 26 by a Sufferer was this strange property confirmed. While many of the researchers and explorers survived, others were apparently murdered. The victims later found themselves on the ground floor of Level 26 and managed to meet up with the rest of the expedition. When the survivors questioned the explorers that woke up, none of them had any memory of what had happened and/or led to their deaths. Although significant evidence was provided, many of their bodies still contained wounds and scars inflicted by the Sufferer's attack.
- Fake Exits to Reality
When travelling through the ground floor of Level 26, one may come across a double door with an exit sign above it. Entering this door will lead to a long hallway with another exit door in the back. Plastered on the walls are painted words stating "exit to reality" or "exit to the real world". If one is to walk towards the door in the back, it would seem that the distance from it will always be the same, as if one can never reach it. Walking back and going through the double doors can lead you to an upper floor.
- Voidcluster-Related Dreams
If you go to sleep while inside Level 26, you can experience what many describe as "Voidcluster Dreams". During the experience of these dreams, one will dream about a random Voidcluster level. In all cases, the level dreamed about is of unknown or undiscovered nature to the wanderer experiencing the dream. The levels can range from already documented to unconfirmed; in one case, it led to the discovery of the existence of Level 106.
» PIRATE SHIPS:
In Level 26, one can find a large variety of pirate and Caribbean-themed attractions; however, the most common and important attractions are the pirate ships. They can be entered by a small opening with a staircase; entering these will always lead to the lower deck of the ship. It is believed that the lower deck of these pirate ships is an internally separated sub-layer of Level 26, as the extent of the lower deck of the ship seems to be infinite. Within this sublayer, one can find wooden barrels, which, while they don't contain supplies, when broken, can be useful to gather wood. The pirate ship's exterior also possesses waterslides that lead into their main deck; the main deck is different from the lower and seems to be completely inside the waterpark with no non-euclidean properties.
» FOOD COURTS:
On each floor of the level, one can find large food courts with a variety of foods and beverages. These have to be noted as neither objects present within the Voidclusters nor real-world food; this food has been reported by many wanderers as completely alien. Despite these facts, the taste of most of these can be described, and they're considered a valuable food source. The food from the food courts has been distributed to other levels, where it is considered exotic food.
Labels can rarely be found right to the side of the food plate; these labels seem to be nametags for the food to its side. The text contained in these labels seems to be a totally random assortment of words, although sometimes it has been found describing the taste.
Examples of labels can be:
- "Raw Keyboard"
- "Pencil Glove"
- "Fried Curtain"
- "German Salt Tree"
- "Almond Book"
» THE MALL:
There is evidence to suggest that Level 26 was, at one point, a mall:
- Many rooms seem to mimic typical mall architecture.
- Food courts are commonly found in malls.
- Level 26 used to be accessible through a mall in Level 12.
» ANOMALIES:
Level 26 is believed to be home to a variety of anomalies thanks to its nature as an entrance to a waypoint in the Voidclusters. Level 26 possesses its own ecosystem of anomalies separated from the common anomalies. These have been dubbed "Lifeguards" and can vary in form, size, and other aspects.
Within the common anomalies, one can find:
- Roamers can be found roaming around the food courts and swimming in the pools.
- Sufferers can rarely be found in the staircases of the level.
- Dog Walkers have been found in the interiors of the pirate ships.
- Impersonators have been reported, mostly on the ground floor.
- Amalgamations are found all over the level.
- Grabbers are found exclusively in the pools.
» ENTRANCES:
There is no specific method or way of entering Level 26 from Cluster 1, and many times it is entered by mere accident. You can only intentionally enter Level 26 either from A New Threshold or Level 100.
» EXITS:
You can leave Level 26 by entering a trap door in one of the pirate ships' interiors, leading into Level 27 or Level 28. You can also leave Level 26 by finding a door with a bathroom sign, leading into Level 99.
» A NEW THRESHOLD:
Level 26 is considered one of the most important levels of the Voidclusters, as it is considered an entrance to a Waypoint between clusters. In Level 26's case, one can rarely find in any floor two sets of doors leading to an escalator. This escalator will lead you to A New Threshold.
