» SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY - 2/5: There are different threats within Level 4, such as barriers and anomalies posing as a threat;
» ENTROPY - 2/5: Mostly stable but with the exception of barriers as a hazard and blackout events;
» ANOMALIES - 2/5: While in lower quantities, there is a considerable amount to pose an obstacle to exploration.
Level 4 is the 5th level of the Voidclusters.
» DESCRIPTION:
Level 4, also known as "The Museum", is an infinite museum.
It is composed of white walls and the usual wooden floors (although materials such as sand or grass have been sighted).
The level's hallways and rooms are adorned by paintings, sculptures, and rarely historical artifacts or pottery; the origin of these objects is unknown, and people report having a strange familiarity with them. Staring at paintings for too long in this level has been noted to cause drowsiness and sanity loss, so Oat Milk is important to have while traversing Level 4.
This is the only level to house Security Guards and is the only level the Artistic Explorers have settled in. Void Children are common here and seem to enjoy the art. Barriers are one of the biggest obstacles in this level and are far more common than anomalies.
The lighting of the level is composed entirely of hanging lights from metal structures or pipes; it is unknown where their energy is sourced from. During rare occasions, all of the lights in this level will turn off. These events are called blackouts, and during them, paintings mysteriously disappear, and the museum reorients itself. When the blackout ends, paintings may cease to exist, and the walls will be rearranged. Blackouts usually only last around 4-5 minutes, although longer periods have been claimed; they lack any major type of evidence.
» COMMUNITIES:
- The Voidcluster Investigators "Van Gogh" Outpost
A small TVI outpost composed of 7 members. They dedicate themselves to help wanderers traversed Level 4 and guide them towards the Level 5 entrance.
- The Artistic Explorers
A group of a dozen people, whose main mission is documenting and archiving the different art pieces and expositions present throughout the level. They possess a set of rules when preserving art, which they named "the artists code.".
» ANOMALIES:
- Sufferers
- Void Children
- Loners
- Security Guards - Anomalies exclusive to the level, and are peaceful as long as you don't break or damage any of the expositions.
» OBJECTS:
- Oat Milk - Can be found on display, however it is not safe to drink and will cause you an effect similar to looking at the paintings.
- Art Projects - Children's art projects. These are created by Void Children;
- Barriers - Usually placed in front of paintings. Some people report looking at a piece of art, when suddenly without warning, a barrier has appeared in front of them. Sometimes rooms filled with them can be found; this could mean a blackout is close to happening.
» ENTRANCES:
- Making contact with a painting in Level 3 will take you to Level 4. Entering an art classroom in Level 15 has a rare chance of taking you to Level 4.
» EXITS:
- Tripping over a barrier could take you to Level 16.
- Breaking open a window will take you to Level 5.
