Note from TVI
Level 7 is currently inaccessible, and has been considered "Missing" since January 11th, 2025. When the last wanderer was reported leaving the level, any entry attempt has proven futile. New replacements for the empty space left by the desert have been thought, but not confirmed. For the time being, this entry is going to be archived.
Zonecluster B4 "The Desert"
Overall Level Difficulty - 1.5: Zonecluster B4 is mostly safe with no anomalies;
Chaos Level - 1: The Zonecluster is mostly stable, aside for the occasional illusions of a typical desert;
Anomaly Count - 0: No confirmed anomalies have been found at all.
Zonecluster B4 is the 8th level of the Zoneclusters, and the 4th of the B Section.
Appearance:
Zonecluster B4, also known as "The Desert", is an infinite desert with dead plants and hills in it. The lighting in this level is always the same. Hills can be seen in the background and are believed to be an illusion made by desert. The dead plants are considered as a food source, and most of them have a good taste. Because of Zonecluster B4's many food sources, the main problem here is dehydration, with water and Object A1 being scarce. The sky of Zonecluster B4 is theorized to have an opposite effect compared to Zonecluster C1, since it has a weird, nostalgic, safe feeling. The lighting always looks the same on the ground.
Groups:
The Beginners were the first to confirm the existence of Zonecluster B4, giving it the nickname "The Desert". The Zonecluster Archivists have been considering establishing a small outpost here.
Reported Anomalies:
None reported yet.
Entry Points:
Entering desert-like areas in Zonecluster C1 can lead to this Zonecluster.
Exit Points
Watching a hill with storms in the background and going to it can place you in Zonecluster C2.
This is one of the older era entries, when we used the old classification system since we thought making everything with numbers and letters would make classification easier…we should have established that outpost far earlier than we did.
Level 7 "The Neon Desert"
» SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY - 3/5: Level 7 is a moderately difficult level to survive in;
» ENTROPY - 2/5: Due to it being a desert, dehydration is a big problem. Its day and night cycle also poses a threat;
» ANOMALIES - 3/5: Anomalies are most commonly found during the night.
Level 7 is the 8th level of the Voidclusters.
» DESCRIPTION:
Level 7, also known as "The Neon Desert", is an infinite desert with dead plants on its surface and desert hills. Despite having a day/night cycle, the lighting in this level is always the same. The hills in this level are not too tall and can be easily traversed, but be careful since Loners usually hunt there. Hills can be seen in the background of the level, and are believed to be an illusion made by the level itself.
The dead plants of this level are considered as a source of alimentation since they are edible and most of them have a good taste. Remember, they are either green or shades of brown and yellow; no edible plant is red. Because of Level 7's many food sources, the main problem here is dehydration, with water and Oat Milk scarce. Ultra Soda can possibly found under a dead plant, but at an extremely low chance.
The sky of Level 7 is theorized to have an opposite effect compared to Level 19 or Level 5, since it has a weird, nostalgic, safe feeling, but remember; this level is in no way safe. The sky in the level has a 28 hour "day/night" cycle, defined by the sky color. The lighting always looks the same on the ground. If the sky is a blueish tone, it is day; if its a more purple tone, it is night. During the daytime, it is usual to find Roamers, and rarely Sufferers. During the night, Dog Walkers, Sufferers and Loners can be found more frequently.
» COMMUNITIES:
- The Voidcluster Investigators Outpost "Desert Storm"
It's a TVI outpost which is currently operated by 8 TVI Operatives. They have supplies and are always willing to trade, but their base location is confidential. Their main mission is to report the changes of the level's structure that have happened over time.
» ANOMALIES:
- Roamers are common since their source of food is the level's plants; during the night they can be found sleeping. If you find a recently-killed instance, try to evacuate the area, since there may be a Dog Walker or Sufferer nearby.
- Sufferers are a common sight in this level, and are abnormally aggressive. Please avoid any screaming coming from the far hills.
- Loners can be found when at night, and are usually situated near one of the level's desert hills.
- Dog Walkers can be found roaming at night.
- Crimson Plants are a variation of the level's plants. These have a crimson color and are to be avoided, as they contain The Fever. Many Roamers have been found dead in the desert due to this particular plant. While Oat Milk and Ultra Soda can cure their effects, the scarcity of these two drinks in this level makes these plants extremely deadly.
» ENTRANCES:
Entering desert areas or no-clipping in Level 5 can lead to this area. Writing the command "DSRT" on the cmds in Level 6 can also lead here.
» EXITS:
Seeing an area that rains in the background hills and following it can lead you into Level 8.
Hard to believe this was 4-5 years ago. By then, Level 7 was already starting to get inhospitable.
» SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY - 5/5: Inhospitable. Just don't come here;
» ENTROPY - 5/5: Dehydration, hunger, the Sun and the inhospitable desert are major threats in this level;
» ANOMALIES - 0/5: All anomalies within Level 7 have perished in the past 2 years.
Level 7 is the 8th level of the Voidclusters.
» DESCRIPTION:
Level 7, also known as "The Orange Desert" is an endless expanse of sand stretching for kilometers with no variation whatsoever; no plants, and no objects have been reported in this level. The level is known for being extremely hot due to the Sun reaching temperatures higher than 39c degrees Celsius. The sky is completely orange, with a yellow glow over the horizon. see TVI Desert Storm Report Archive for more information.
» ENTRANCES:
The old Level 6 entrance method has proven to not work anymore; the only method left is the Level 5 method.
» EXITS:
No-clipping into the sand is the only way to leave Level 7 as of now.
TVI Desert Storm Report Archive:
Jan 2020
Alright, Foggy Cityscape, after a report by the CCO Taskforce RH3, we've done recent explorations around the level, surprised to find that Roamer population has almost completely gone extinct here, and that all of the plants are dying. We believe this is happening due to the daytime nowadays lasting longer than it should. The day has now been lasting for about 17 hours, which is longer than it was before, and only 11 hours are left of the night. Even worse, the clouds in the sky are starting to disappear, which of course means that the exit into Level 8 could disappear. We're starting to get worried Level 7 will get worse day by day.
Nov 2022
Communicating with Foggy Cityscape: After frequent reports we've made for the last 2 years, we can now confirm there's only 1 hour of night left, and after the Roamer extinction, we're incredibly worried but now, even Sufferers — which at some point were considered an infestation back here — are getting rare. All natural plants have died, and only the ones cared for by our outpost have survived. We've been helping wanderers that got in here by accident, but recently, no new wanderers that came here for supplies or getting into Level 8 have arrived.
I'm starting to believe we're closer to the end of any type of Level 7 exploration or habitation.
June 2024
We left what was remaining of Desert Storm, probably going to get covered by all the sand there is now. It's been 3 months since we saw the last cloud, and 7 since "little one" — the last native Level 7 plant — died here, I have to thank you for letting us transfer some plants in pots to Level 19 and 8. They’ll probably grow there…besides, a week ago we found the corpse of a Dog Walker. Normally, I'd be terrified of those things, but this time…it was just so sad seeing it so covered in sand, and almost to the bones… and plus, we're seeing a rain storm in the distance. Probably the last one here. See you guys in Level 8. -Desert Storm Ex-Leader Researcher A. Jones
